I made a VRChat world themed after Core Keeper & Don't Starve Together for a joint birthday party!
The original concept came from simply figuring out a theme for the birthday party. I recently finished a playthrough of Core Keepers (up to the Scarab boss) with friend of mine after ~100 hours of playing the game and my friend really likes Don't Starve, so I figured that would be the theme. The next three days I bashed my forehead into Blender and Unity to make the world a reality.
So far it's a bit of a stub but I made sure so at least add some props here and there to make it feel alive, but despite that as far as I'm aware, this is the first Core Keeper themed VRChat world, and while showing it off during our birthday party I even got some people interested in the game!
I'll fleshen it out a little bit over the coming days but I'm taking a small break after this crunch, but personally; I can't wait for the next content update to start a new adventure with my friends!
