Is there some reasoning behind how they're arranged (with some being out of line/offset from others in its "set") or is it just for symmetry/asthetics ? Either way, nice work!

Symmetry and aesthetics, mostly. I was so annoyed when I realized I'd forgotten about the acid larva and realized that side wouldn't be symmetrical anymore once I found it; that's why the lava butterfly is up against the wall next to it.
