I place two identically sized stacks of ingredients (must always be two for it to work properly) into any one of the 4 input chests. This causes the arms to grab one ingredient and then the other to place on the table, which in turn splits off 8 units of the stack to travel to each cookpot

if it's done correctly, this essentially cooks large stacks of food 8 time faster per running section
