i forget, there is a maximum distance i think though it might not affect much?... 200 tiles? but honestly you might need to ask dakon or peace, if him doesn't know.

Monster production will be slow if it is too close, and monsters will be restricted in areas that are too far away, so the middle area is the best monster spawning area
