Topic:
Manicure and Ribbon/Bow accessory cost can be reduced

Reason:
Manicures are barely noticeable unless zoomed in and have far less detail then most 1 cost accessories, Bows and ribbons also don't have much reason to be 3 to 4 points each, they don't have special effects, aren't very large and don't have textures that 1 cost accessories haven't already used.

Why:
With the current accessory costs I can't finish replicating My irl jirai kei looks, because to equip a manicure, My purse or bows would need to be removed, and I wear more bows Irl then I can equip in game, It's not accessory slots, its the cost of the accessories.

Imean manicures (assuming you just mean nails) kinda understandably require more than 1 acc point just because they do stick to 10 fingers which can all move independently- I wish the didn’t always cost 3 but I think 3 is kinda the norm for items that stick to very specific animated points (same case with eyelash accessories that move when your char blinks)

Bows and Ribbons I can’t say much for- ig they have some animation to them (some at least) so that could be why they cost 2 depending on the bow / ribbon, but yea it’d be nice if it could be reduced for future ones; I just don’t know how possible that’d be

I'm still sad that photon crown is 1 point and glows.
But that contest design winner for a glowing little dot costs 3 points (even when the artist specifically request it costs 1 point in the drawing).

Keeping in mind that accessory costs are based off of how much computer power is needed to render them...

  • Nails tend to be curved (thus need more polygons then a flat surface) and, as Fearless mentioned--basically function as 10 (sometimes 20) individual accessories. Their processing load also increases if they're made out of a special material (i.e. metal) or affect how other things are rendered (i.e. semi-transparency, glowing, etc.)

  • Meanwhile, bow accessories tend to be fairly-detailed (which requires higher-quality textures), as well as how multiple movement points in their model (which kinda speaks for itself lol)
