Once you order a vps and it is installed, you get a email with details such as ip and username and a link to generate a password, by clicking on the link you will be redirected with your created password - COPY it.
If you are using windows - download a tool called PUTTY and login with details to your VPS.
If you are using linux - just use the terminal.
