Today was quite a dazzling day. Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep until 3:30 am due to my insomnia, which affected the time I woke up. I had planned to wake up at 4:30 am but ended up waking up at 8:30 am. I quickly got dressed, grabbed my bag, ate some homemade biscuits, and headed out to be on time. Of course, before all that, I prayed Fajr.

We attended the event from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, then took a lunch break and continued until 4:30 pm. I tried to be sociable, chatting with new people and catching up with my old classmates.

After getting home, I prayed, had a little snack, and did some household chores. I worked on my Notion space and LinkedIn account, and I also watched some videos to get inspired for creating an Instagram/YouTube post this week. I listened to a podcast about relationships; it was very interesting, but I couldn't finish it as it was quite long—3 hours in total. So, I'll break it up over 6 days to fully absorb the content without getting bored.

Now, I'm going to prepare my dinner, read some pages from the Quran since I couldn't do it in the morning, and also read a few pages from my book.

Today's Wins:
-Reading some pages from the Quran (planning to do it now).

  • Made an effort to be more sociable and attended today's event.
    -Completed my household chores.
-Spent some quality time working on my Notion space and LinkedIn account this evening.
-Progressed on my content creation process.
-Took some time to unwind with a fun and relaxing podcast—definitely part of my self-care routine!
-Planning to dive into a book now and read a few more pages before the day ends. Tomorrow's Goals and Tasks:
  • Wake up at 7:30 am (keeping it realistic this time).
-Ending the day by reading some pages from the Quran.
  • Enjoy a healthy breakfast to fuel the day.
-Have a morning meditation/yoga session for a peaceful start.
-Review my algorithm course, probability, and some math.
-Complete household chores and tidy up.
  • Organize a section of my wardrobe.
  • Review Microsoft Word basics and watch Notion tutorials.
-Gather more inspiration for an Instagram post and YouTube community update.
  • Read a few pages from my current book.
-Plan my to-do list for the next day.
  • Wind down and aim to sleep by 12:30 am.

Daily Journal:

Hello, I'm a bit disappointed today because I couldn’t wake up at 7:30 am as planned. I think it's because I didn’t sleep until 2 am last night and only slept for 5 hours. Spending the whole day at university, working in the evening, and doing my household chores were all reasons for waking up late at 10 am. Then, I didn’t get out of bed until noon.

After praying and reading some pages from the Quran, I prepared my lunch, which wasn’t particularly “healthy,” but it was homemade. Afterward, I completed my household chores, except for washing the dishes. I also organized a part of my wardrobe and started working on content creation. I looked for inspiration for a new post. Then, I reviewed a bit of Microsoft Word basics and algorithms.

I had an online meeting, but I feel a little frustrated because I couldn’t express myself or my goals well. It was my first time on camera, and speaking to someone I hadn’t known for long made me nervous. They were very polite and kind, but as it was my first experience, I feel a little down (hoping they will reach out again).

Finally, I prepared my dinner—pasta with tomato sauce and cheese. Now, I’ll go through my evening routine and get ready for bed. Good night ❤️
Today's Wins:

  1. Read some pages from the Quran.
  2. Completed household chores (except the dishes!).
  3. Organized part of my wardrobe.
  4. Worked on content creation and found inspiration for a new post.
  5. Reviewed Microsoft Word basics and algorithms.
  6. Prepared a nice homemade dinner.
  7. Had my first online meeting, even though it was a bit challenging.

Tomorrow's Goals:

  1. Read Surat Al-Kahf as it’s Friday.
  2. Complete my usual household chores but add a deep clean of the living room.
  3. Organize another part of my wardrobe.
  4. Put clothes in the washing machine and turn it on.
  5. Finish reviewing the basics of Microsoft Word, as I didn’t use it much last year and need a refresher.
  6. Review my algorithm notes.
  7. Study a bit of math.
  8. Gather more inspiration for content creation.

Hello,

Ah, today was such a productive day! Yesterday, since I couldn’t get out of bed until 12:30 pm, I decided to be more realistic about my wake-up time. I went to bed at 2:30 am and set an alarm for 11:06 am. Thankfully, I woke up at 8:55 am, only to realize that I had accidentally set my phone to airplane mode. I was worried my parents might have tried to call me since I’ve been spending the week alone with my brother because of their work.

I prayed and read Surat Al-Kahf, then had breakfast. After that, I got a bit of inspiration for my content creation. I reviewed my algorithm notes from yesterday and finished my Microsoft Word training (though I still have two sessions left). I did my household chores but left the living room floor cleaning to my brother (who hasn’t done it yet—he's mastering laziness).

Afterward, I spent some time on my LinkedIn account, which I just opened last Wednesday, added a few connections to my network, and caught up on the news. I also reviewed half of the first chapter of probability from last semester because we’ll be moving forward soon, and I need to refresh my brain.

Now, I’m going to have something to eat, watch some YouTube videos to relax, and then head to bed. Goodnight, everyone! ❤️
Today's Wins:

1.Read Surat Al-Kahf as it’s Friday.
2.Completed my usual household chores .
4.Organized another part of my wardrobe.
5.reviewing some basics of Microsoft Word.
6.Reviewed my algorithm notes.
7.Studied some math.
8.Gathered more inspiration for content creation.

Today didn’t go as planned. I had trouble waking up, but I managed to pray and prepare lunch. I still worked on my content and spent some time on my LinkedIn account. After that, I started cleaning the living room and my bedroom. My brother got news about a school he applied to, which brought some excitement to the house. My parents came back with my little sister, and I spent some time with them. We ended up taking a long 3-hour nap, which was unexpected. After the nap, I helped my mom with some documents, and we went out to get groceries. When we got back, I prayed and assisted my mom in the kitchen, preparing meals for the upcoming week to make things easier. I feel completely exhausted. I'm heading to bed now.

Tomorrow's Goals:

  1. Read Surat Youssef.
  2. Plan my week after the administration sends out the academic schedule.
  3. Create and schedule this week's content.
  4. Take a long, relaxing shower.
  5. Do something fun.

This morning, I am grateful for:
1-Waking up at 4:30 am.
2-Praying Tahajud and the dawn prayer on time.
3-Starting the day with a fresh mindset.
The ideal version of me today:
1-Pre-reviewed today’s module (already done).
2-Studying for 6 hours this evening.
3-Taking care of myself throughout the day.

These last three days, I haven't been able to journal because I've been overwhelmed with studying and revising. On top of that, my hormones have been all over the place, making me easily irritated. My brother, with whom I stay during the week, hasn't been helpful either. He avoids his chores and spends most of his time at home sleeping or chatting with a girl he’s not supposed to, or going out with friends. When I asked for help with house chores, he refused, claiming the kitchen was clean when it wasn't. I have so much to study, and it feels like I’m left handling everything on my own.

I especially remember Tuesday, when I couldn’t wake up early enough to prepare something for lunch. I ended up taking only a biscuit and juice for a 10-hour day at university. When I came home, exhausted and hungry, he still didn't help by preparing food, even though I asked him. What frustrated me the most is that when he had class, I always made sure he had lunch, even when I wasn’t hungry. I've learned that sometimes you just have to stop giving your time and energy to people who don't reciprocate.

Another thing that made me sad is that our math tools for data science module was supposed to start yesterday, but our professor, who is new and unqualified, decided to teach us operational research instead. This module is meant for another major, so now I have to teach myself data science math tools on my own.

Lastly, I wanted to create a club for our major, but I couldn’t announce it because I’m shy and my classmates are strangers to me. I asked the class representative to share the idea, and one of my classmates rudely messaged her, telling her to delete it. We later found out that he and a small group wanted to form the club themselves, excluding others. They seem to want control, but if it’s a club for the entire major, everyone should have the chance to share and exchange ideas.

On the bright side, I’ve managed to stay disciplined with my studies, even if it’s just for two hours a day, and sometimes more, like the 6 hours I studied on Monday, Alhamdulillah. I’ve also been able to wake up early and get to class on time, which wasn’t always the case in previous years when I was often late.

It's 1 a.m. now, so I need to sleep. Good night, everyone.

Yesterday, I was really sick and couldn’t get out of bed or eat anything. Fortunately, the morning session was canceled. For the afternoon session, I sent a message to the professor who is the program coordinator, letting him know I wouldn’t be able to attend. Luckily, today’s session was also canceled due to a student-organized event (Holy/Pool Party).

So, I woke up at 10 a.m. and got out of bed at 11 a.m. I meditated, made myself breakfast, but I started feeling bad again, so I stayed in bed until 4 p.m. Then, I had lunch and started studying from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. I also joined the focus session. After that, I took a 30-minute break to watch a vlog.

I edited a video and shared it, then finished my studies. I had planned to do the housework, but there’s a water shortage in the city, so I’ll leave the dishes for tomorrow. Oh, and I listened to a podcast today about "new beginnings," which talked about how we can strengthen our spiritual relationship with Allah, and how we shouldn’t procrastinate on making these changes because we never know when we might die.

I decided to start a digital detox, but since I’m not really addicted to Discord, and it motivates me when I join focus groups, I’ll just stop using Facebook and Instagram for the next few days.

Hello,
Today, I woke up at 11 a.m., probably because I didn’t sleep until 3 a.m. I made breakfast and did the house chores. Afterward, I edited a video planned for Wednesday, and I really enjoyed the editing process. Then, I relaxed for an hour and had lunch.

At 5 p.m., I started studying. I reviewed the notes from the first session and did the homework for the operations research module. I also completed the homework for the algorithms and Python module. I had planned to read the chapter for the latter module, but by 9:30 p.m., I was exhausted, so I decided to postpone it until tomorrow.

I also made plans for the week. I need to complete my study tasks, such as reviewing notes, doing homework, and finding courses on Udemy. I also planned the two videos I need to create this week. One is finished, and I'll work on the second one in the next few days.

Finally, this week I’ll focus every day on: drinking 8 glasses of water, meditating for 10 minutes, and doing my gratitude journaling in the morning and at night. I’m also considering meditating in the middle of the day to relax and unwind, so I can complete my day better. It’s midnight now, I need to go to bed to wake up early, as I have classes in the morning and afternoon.

#

Goals for Tomorrow:

  1. Wake up at 5 a.m. to pray at dawn.
  2. Study today’s lecture at 5:45 a.m. to finish my tasks early.
  3. Drink 8 cups of water.
  4. Meditate for 10 minutes in the middle of the day.
  5. Do gratitude journaling when I wake up and after I return from university.
  6. Complete house chores and don't forget the laundry.
  7. Give the medical certificate to my professors tomorrow to avoid issues with my absences.
  8. Request a certificate from the administration website.
  9. Meet with the group for the English assignment.
  10. Watch 20 minutes of the series I want to start (I’m adding this to include a fun activity).
I also need to add some outdoor activities because I’ve noticed that I’ve become a homebody over the past few months. I only go to university or hang out with my mom on Saturdays when she visits, but since tomorrow is full, I’ll plan something for later.
