Hello everyone,

We excited to present a new initiative for our Art Club that will bring a fresh wave of creativity and community spirit every month. Introducing the Art Club Monthly Challenge!

Each month, we will introduce a new art challenge inspired by:

  • Monthly film releases
  • Seasonal events
  • Holidays
  • Cultural themes
    -and many more

For July's challenge you can choose from below:

Summer Vibes: Highlighting the essence of summer with themes like beaches, vacations, sunshine, and outdoor activities.

Fireworks and Festivals: Inspired by the numerous fireworks displays and festivals in July, this theme could focus on celebrations, light, and color.

All the work goes here⤵️

At the end of the month, we’ll host a special event to showcase all the amazing art created. Each artist will be able to present their work and share the story behind it.

If any artist cannot attend the event or prefers not to speak, we will happily present their work and share their thoughts on their behalf.

'Dragon Summer'. Summer time makes me think of plants and animals, and I've been binge watching "House of the Dragon" in my free time so I had to include a dragon. I'll keep working on this since I started last minute but I'm happy with my progress so far.

Now, it’s time to announce the themes for August’s Art Club Monthly Challenge! This month, we’ll continue to draw inspiration from a variety of sources, ensuring there’s something for everyone:

For August, you can choose from the following themes:

  • Harvest Time: Celebrate the late summer harvest with depictions of fruits, vegetables, and the beauty of nature’s bounty.
  • International Youth Day (August 12): Focus on themes of youth, vitality, and the contributions of young people to society.
  • Fantasy Worlds: Let your imagination run wild by creating art inspired by fantasy landscapes, mythical creatures, and magical adventures.
  • Olympics: Capture the excitement and spirit of the Olympic Games with athleticism, competition, and international unity themes.

If any artist cannot attend the event or prefers not to speak, we will happily present their work and share their thoughts on their behalf (so make sure to leave us your descriptions , thoughts to your art ).

We noticed that last month’s challenge had fewer participants, but we totally get it—life happens! We hope you’re finding new motivation to join in this month.

And now, it’s time for a new challenge! I’m excited to announce the September Theme Art Club Challenge:

Back to School:🎒📝📚 Create artwork inspired by school memories, books, or classroom objects.

Changing Seasons: 🍃🍂🍁 Capture the transition from summer to autumn, whether it’s leaves changing color, harvest themes, or cozy autumn scenes.

Feel free to choose any theme that sparks your imagination! We hope you can find the time to put pencil, pen, or digital brush to paper.

(You also have the option to revisit themes from previous months if you’d like. Just jump to the August challenge in the pinned section📌 .)

We’ll be letting you choose the event date, so keep an eye out for the poll!
