#Server replacement / metrics continuity

Hi,
First, I'm using a Parent-Children topology.
I will soon have to replace rented servers amongst my netdata monitored pool by new ones. Since it's only about upgrading hardware, I would like to have the new metrics to be appended to the replaced node metrics. That is, I want the replacement to be seamless for netdata.

Is it possible ?

I may have found a way : putting back the same guid in /var/lib/netdata/registry/netdata.public.unique.id work after full OS wipe and upgrade. We'll see if it also survives an IP change.
