Is it better to stay at level 8 in ships/subs like the Yasen? I just feel its kainda underwhelming

Iowa does kinda suck
The lack of torpedoes leaves u very vulnerable to pro sub players even with Seahawks

Iowa needs support from team to be viable tbh
but it is a great meat shield and amazing at close range combat with surface ships
usually in a big team there is at least one Iowa (usually placed in the front) to tank for torps/missiles and waste opponents SAMs with its missile swarm
allowing the better kirov missiles to hit the opponent
a good team build I like is 1 iowa (usually highest point teammate that you protect) 2 kirovs, 2 essex, and 2 subs (yasen or sometimes seawolf)

its good and bad. tons of fire power but no distance. great with a team.
