Possibly a limit on how big your ship can be, as well as how many weapons can be placed on it(according to size).
Max should be 25x40 blocks, the bigger your ship gets the more weapons you can put on TO A LIMIT.
Having an actual size limit prevents ginormous players from dominating the server entirely, allowing players who join to have an actual chance.
Additionally, the bigger your ship gets, the more visible it gets(if stealth gen is installed) and the weaker the shield is.(if shield gen is installed, shield weakened by a fractional amount)
