First yay! Hi, I'm currently doing headshot concepts of what the Valkyarie Shuttle goobs would look like for the AU. ( from the head and neck portion specifically) I was thinking I play around with the Navi name of the Valkyarie Shuttle ( Shah-Tell) and making a Shah-Tell Makto. So thought it would be to design it into flying creature similar to the stormglider or toruk. Though Debating on Kuru or no Kuru.

More little doodles and a practice fullbody of my Valkyarie Shuttle critters. ( I like to draw them from my sketchbook first before drawing them digitally)
I restructured the head a bit to make use of the side vents on the Valkyarie's nose to perform as an upper jaw. To help them mimic normal Valkyarie Shuttles.

First accessory + height showcase for the Shah-Tell beans ( it's the saddle and armor similar to quaritch's Ikran but it's more RDA branded due to their place of origin.

Finally got to playing around with some Valkyire/Garuda Shuttle patterns (Antonio Bruno's Valkyire Was the first victim) I personally love the matted black pattern on this Valkyire in particular even added little snow leopard spots. (Kinda)

Finally got some designs to showcase (sorry for the wait) in a new view to have a better view of the saddles and patterns of the Valkyonytrix. I'm also planning on making a Na'vi clan surrounding them, while also planning around with turning Antonio Bruno into Recom for the Au.
I just need to know what Bruno actually looks like for reference to make Antonio Bruno Na'vi accurate. ( I'm also open to making Valkyonytrix designs upon request so feel free to ask!) I'll try to make some Na'vi saddles and paints for my Valkyonytrix and Garudalynx babies when I can.

Here's the first Garudalynx showcase with hammerhead inspired gear! Since the Garudalynx and Valkyonytrix diet consists of larger animals like Fireback mastodon, Hammerhead, Colossus etc. It's only fitting to make saddles specific to that animal. Including those considered as Shah-Tell treats (which are usually slabs of thanator or stormglider meat).

Update on harling's design! Harling's gear has na'vi handprints of different shades and colors to represent every na'vi clan ( except for Mangkwan) also for her kuru harness. She has streamers wrapped around it to celebrate a milestone in her life. (Basically a Shah-Tell's song cord) I'm still finishing her up.

Here is the final for Harling. Which means lore time! (Disclaimer: for this AU, some valkyries are based on the shuttles seen from Avatar 1 to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. And some DLCs will be referenced.)
Harling, during her younger years leading up to the events of skybreaker, Harling was under the ownership of Colonel Harding. Though unlike harding; this Valkyonytrix in particular was more gentle and curious about pandora. Though her ancestry starts all the way from Valkyrie 1-6's time making her valuable to the RDA for producing offspring.
However, since the Shah-Tells both Valkyonytrix and Garudalynx are highly intelligent beasts; with their intelligence being the equivalent to the intelligence of a tulkun. Colonel Harding, being known for her cruelty has also been inflicted on Harling including her sibling that was decompressioned and used to drop on the games camp. until the combined assault of the Na'vi resistance in the heart of the plains that resulting in Harding's death. Though harling continued to be gentle and overall friendly; The downside was that it was only shown when surrounded by Na'vi.
And when the resistance attempted to approach Harling, she showed many signs of being skittish and aggressive towards humans and the overall scent of RDA even if its the most faint catch of the scent. Since than Harling had resided in the hallelujah mountains under the care of Tsuk, ( her rider) and the Shavix clan made up of rogue Na'vi.
In time Wild Shah-Tell nests spread to other areas with floating mountains including the Spires of the Clouded forest. Which was not only a territory but a noticeable nesting/breeding ground for Shah-Tell species, Harling was no exception to this area either as this was how she came across Brutus (Antonio Bruno's Custom valkyrie) and flight commander Antonio Bruno. Thus Harling finding trust in only Bruno specifically because of Her and Brutus being a mated pair.
Harling is also dubbed by the Na'vi as the " Sky Mother" due to her being protective over them and would attack any RDA that would trigger her defensive stance.

Finally getting around to making the Na'vi(and Recom) starting with the man himself, Flight Commander Antonio Bruno.
With each reference/ showcase I'll be adding what their ikran and Shah-Tell looks like since the Shavix clan have both as their everlasting bonds.

Here's the finished ref for Antonio Bruno as a Recom! In some na'vi clothing. Also here's one with his paint being similar to his Valkyire's patterns to be hidden through camouflage in the night and to match with his mate, Tsuk who has the same painted patterns as Harling.

I'm back with a with some WIPs to showcase!
The first one is a big artwork called "The skies are bigger than you think" each artwork will display a Valkyonytrix or Garudalynx interacting with its environment of Pandora. Starting with Brutus and working my way down.

And for the second one is that I'm starting to design some Shah-Tell charms! These charms are not only good source of identification of certain roles of the clan but it apart of their pride as Valkari'yu (I changed the clan name to be a bit more Na'vi)
