whatever mod you get you need to put the files into that blue folder (unless stated otherwise in the mod's description). Some mods will come packed with a blue folder as root, those you just extract as it is. Others won't be like that, you will need to check the mod's description and make the folder structure yourself
if you wanna give it a try, there is Vortex, it's a mod manager by NexusMods. I made an extension for it to support AFoP 😄

oh, that one has multiple options, you need to rename the file according the version you want. Like, let's say you want the black one, remove the (1 Black) from the name, it should start like p_eyelashes...

another modding question: is there any way to change what base shirt the mod is replacing if I didn’t create the mod? Almost every mod I’ve found (for tops) is a remake of the researchers shirt or the rebel chest guard, so I can only have 2 shirts at a time unless I uninstall one 😞

What you could still do is have all the mods you want installed and have one active at a time (like name the DDS files something else). Whenever you want to switch, just give the texture you want the correct name and re-equip. Shouldn't even have to relaunch the game!

(i was kinda js spitting out words to be fair..) but im personally not a fan of the harness structure for this one, but i like the front piece of the advanced ones, however the dangly fabrics or wtv lag a lot (for me) and imo look funny (apoligies if this doesnt make sense im a lil dumb hrh)

Apparently I accidentally copied the afop folder so I was essentially putting it in nothing! Also I looked at the steps kal made and I found the real folder with the real afop.exe

The cosmetic should show itself when chosen in the character inventory, you don't have to wear the actual top for it to show up, means you either never had to top or placed it in the wrong path folder

Or it's not a fullbody layer of purple. But it's what they used to easily get some of the body coloring patterns for everyone

Here, I combined the lilac version with the tail wrap. Try installing the lilac version again, and then replace the _d and _n dds files in blue\baked\characterart\npc\rnf\default\body\female\rnf_body_01_f\textures with these two

that mod just gives a single file, you must make the path yourself. For "Upscaled textures" mod you can just get the blue folder from it and put in your game folder

oh I see it now. The mods conflict with each other, both has a p_rnf_head_pattern_02.dds file at blue/baked/charecterart/player/head/shared/pattern. So if you want to remove the one from "Neytiri stripes" and use the one from "Upscaled textures", just grab the file from the later again

if you want it to go back to the very original you have to remove the mods, for that you can just delete the entire blue folder. If you want to just keep the "Upscaled textures" stuff, just get the missing file(s) from it

Go through the exact same way you installed it and just go backwards, make sure you've removed absolutely everything that could be blocking it - graphs n stuff.
