I really felt like this game can give more and it's just around the corner or as what Kiri says "A word that about to be spoken"

I'm not saying Massive did half assed commitment looking at what we have now. But we know that they can give much more at least just like what we saw in the movies.

And i believe modding is the only way to get that

I totally agree! The thing that bugs me about this game is the fact that even though they truly made probably the best looking game of all time even topping Crysis 3 which is a big success, where it struggles is it being a ubisoft game, Ubisoft doesn't really listen to it's fan base lol

When it came to the world pandora, they did a great job, but they needed help with things like weapon variety, enemy variety, mounts, etc. For example, are the bases that you need to shut down; they kind of just followed the same formula as the Far Cry games.. which was copy/paste 30 different bases that you need to shut down haha But in the end, i'm thrilled that this game even exists, you can't have it all..🤷‍♂️

I know Ubisoft commented saying that the reason they chose 1st person was so that the player could feel that more connected to the world.. but I think this is a bit of a selfish mindset.. they could have easily incorporated a 3rd person option for players that wanted it, and I guarantee that people would have been satisfied either way🥲

When they said AFoP will be like Far Cry. I am blessed. Coz despite Far Cry repetitive mission and side quests, you cant argue that FC have one of the best stealth kills animation on knife and melee weapons which is if integrated in AFoP i know it will be awesome. I know 99% of Avatar fans want to back stab and punch the navi knife from behind.

I sssume it’s clothes u wanna look for

Say u wanna edit a loincloth

I’d just search ‘waist’

Then scroll down to the models, then press p to get a preview, u can move it around using shift and middle mouse button or smth

Once u find the loincloth u wanna do

Look at the name of the model, search that name within Hunter

Then it’s gna bring up ur texture files

U wanna export the one w _d at the end

It’ll be like a flattened, chaotic version of your clothing choice

Same thing applies to other items, torso for tops, arm for arm, leg for leg.. u get it

For dlc 2 files you can load everything as a raw file in hunter and look it up there

Saw this and just wanted to correct because it can be very confusing, to move a model around in Hunter.exe, you need to use the ALT key while using the left and right mouse button, keep in mind you have to be holding alt to move the model around, and holding right click vs left click do different things🙂

I don't think that can be done in Blender, the rigs don't import correctly due to some softwares having the rotational axis differently. I don't know what program they've used for them, either, and it well might be one that isn't free...
And no, afaik nobody's found a way to do it yet anyway

Flying on an ikran, we're in 3rd person. That's what I was talking about here, being able to switch between 1st (to experience being na'vi, kind of) and 3rd (to see more of your surroundings, aka make fighting or finding something easier) person

The bad thing is that importing and exporting models is still new to the modding community, and the original file format that is used for the models [mmb] is not an exporting option in 3D Maya. unless you get a custom script but even that is a dead end, but no issues with making new models as of yet, only having trouble with exporting them back in game lol

So what Im doing is setting my hunter as exporting models as autodesk maya, and then when the model is imported, I change what I want and then simply save, I do not hit save as, or export because I don't want to change the format, I simply want to edit.. but it's not working, not sure why
