#Cider Remote & Widget only work in Administrator Mode

do you have firewall rules in place that blocks firebase and firebase related domains?
firewall is where I went to try and allow the application through, do not know if firebase and whatnot are denied from it... give me a sec to check
after looking through my firewall, I've allowed Cider through public and private networks, but don't see anything about firebase being blocked
unless you know the specific service(s) or inbound/outbound rules that I need to look for?
or are there any other possible workarounds?
@tribal owl would you know? The frontend being restricted by something, most likely a firewall thing no?
shouldn’t
also note that I have logged out of Apple Music as well as my Cider account, removed the machine from the list as well a few minutes ago... can't seem to find a way to add it back, which I know is how the remote finds which instance to control
Might need to reauthenticate to Cider Connect
again, that's just something I tried in the last few minutes, but its worth a shot
version 2.1.0 for what its worth
there a way to force reauthentication?
Typically the device on the right side of the Cider client would show "this device" or something similar, but it is not. I'm not sure how/when it recognized the device that is now named test, but I named it so that if another device would show up we can differ between the two.
There a way to force Cider to add the current device as a new one?
