Cider 1.6.0 does not obey the system play/pause button. It does obey the skip keys. Tested using StreamDeck hotkey, laptop media keys on 2 systems

Most likely a windows bug, this happens from time to time but is not caused by Cider.

#

For me this works fine, I can pause/play/skip and adjust volume all fine

Hmmm... This persists on Windows 10/11 and Kubuntu 22.04LTS

for example having iTunes open, Spotify open, YouTube etc

#

anything that also uses media keys will interrupt Ciders use of them

you can open Control Center (Win + A) to see what application you can control by media keys

#

these shortcuts aren't specific to Cider app

#

they're commonly used to control media in general

#

so with multiple applications (browsers count too) it might be funky

#

ALSO, don't use Nightly builds

#

they're considered as bleeding edge
