My main use case for this feature would be to pause and skip songs from my airpods without needing to go to my pc.

I guess there must be some bug that caused it to stop working. It started working again after restarting.

I think this is still an issue when the media key support is not enabled at first launch (Just confirmed this behavior)

Yeah i had the same issue when i first launched the app. Restarting it fixed it for me

There is a weird bug where if I am watching a YT video or a twitch stream, with cider running in the background, and try to shuffle music using my hardware key (or pause/play) it pauses and or plays the video playing
