Been playing the first Wild Arms, it’s a very cool turn based jrpg that’s a bit dated in terms of growth it’s very A to B in that aspect aside from one character magic which you have more freedom in how she unlocks it. Music and visuals are very charming (but it’s a ps1 jrpg so that usually a given) story’s ok, a lot of the lore is dumped and readable through a library at the start of the game, but the Wild West meets fantasy aesthetic is very cool, if not done better in later entries in the series.
(Unrelated but I botched the crap out of my journal I did have a original post initially but I accidentally deleted it cause I couldn’t get a image off of it. Erm… Whoopsie doodles?

Probably the worst aging ff game. Idk, not really a fan of traditional turn based and especially detest Active time battle (ATB). Press turn and Conditional Turn-Based Battle (CTB) are more my speed, I need turn manipulation or animation skips, I don’t like waiting.
