Let’s start fresh

I’m worried about my boy. He’s been acting strange and two days ago my husband noticed two lumps on the side of his neck. Then yesterday a third lump in his throat. He hasn’t been eating well and would only eat eggs if I fed him by hand. He’s still drinking water but I’m so scared. All my dogs growing up got cancer of some sort and passed away fairly young. My sweet boy is only 6 years old and we rescued him when he was 2 years old. He is deserving of a long, safe, loving life. He is so good with children and breaks every pitbull stereotype. He is the goodest boy. I don’t know what I’ll do if something is seriously wrong with him. We go to the vet tomorrow and I’m beyond terrified. I love him so much. Please God let me have more time with him.

Today is vet day. Praying my boy doesn’t have the C word. Anything curable but that.

I had a really bad panic attack last night. My heart felt like it was racing a million times per minute and at the same time it felt like it was breaking in half. It was extremely hard to breathe and I had an intense nausea feeling. Then I started sobbing. I think what’s happening to my boy is finally hitting me and its hitting me hard. I ended up throwing up so much, I probably emptied out everything I had that afternoon. It was horrible. I feel horrible.

Vet called and was concerned that Drax has cancer in his kidneys due to elevated/abnormal levels. Also he pooped a black tar which made her concerned about internal bleeding. We started him on two new medications to help with that.

He’s been responding good to the meds so she’s not urgently concerned. We’re to keep monitoring him and updating her about his status.

Yesterday was an okay day for my boy, today was much better.

At this point we just want him to eat so he had some popcorn chicken for lunch and a wendys double stack for dinner.
