What version of spicetify are you on

#

Run spicetify

#

version will be at the top

#

spicetify -v also works

#

Have you blocked spotify updates

#

Then no

#

Download and run the spotify installer from spotify's website

#

Once it's installed again run

spicetify backup apply

#

you shouldnt need both the cli script should also install marketplace

#

i would note down all your extensions and then clean reinstall spotify and spicetify but idk if u want to do that or if there is an easier way

#

close and reopen spotify

#

That's not the Spotify installer

#

That’s not 2.36.4 for 100%

#

There is no new version of Spotify past 1.2.35

Since react element regex works even on 1.1.xx

I think we will use our xpui archive that we have on github to restore backups

#

But delusoire already made it to just zip it and rename it to .bak

I don’t fucking know xd

#

Isn't the whole point of Spicetify that like you don't download a modded Spotify you're downloading a program that mods Spotify and doesn't come with the Spotify code itself

#

That's like the workaround to avoid copyright

pure urchin
#

I meant as of backup files

#

We have repo with clean xpui files

#

We don’t modify those

analog bay
#

that's redistribution of copyrighted material

Am not a lawyer

analog bay
#

one dmca request the repo is down

pure urchin
#

Technically it’s like compiled code so it’s not copyrighted
