Beautiful Lyrics lagging after a while

After starting my spicetify client and running Beautiful Lyrics extension, it works fine. But after about 20-30 seconds of playback it starts lagging. It starts lagging my whole computer, any fix to this?

i did win+shift+S it took like 10 seconds to open the ss menu

reached a peak of 380mb ram usage

hm, well the ram usage is normal so that’s not anything to worry about - i’m actually surprised it’s not more

CPU isn’t being strained so I actually have no idea why it’s lagging

if you enable the GPU % in Task manager that could help

its not an issue that just appeared out of nowhere, it has been there ever since i installed it

yeah it might just be down to your integrated GPU; the extension is performance intensive because of the background blur.

I think in the future I’ll implement a toggle to switch between detailed and simple background modes (both will have the cool background just both will have different details and looks)

but I’m a game developer and work a lot on a ton of things and recently i’ve been super busy, so I’ll get to that soon when I can

sorry for the experience you’re having :[, this kinda stuff on Spotify for Windows doesn’t work too well performance wise because of some stuff Spotify does
