Spicetify does not apply after installation. | Spicetify | Page 1

I've looked through a good bit of the current support tickets. During installation everything completes properly and I am able to run commands in Powershell but when I attempt to run "spicetify backup apply enable-devtool" the command just hangs until I close Powershell. I've seen a few replies saying to just wait until it finishes but I've left it for over an hour with no change in status. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using the version of Spotify from spotify.com

Not the Microsoft Store version

maybe run spicetify backup apply and spicetify enable-devtools singly
