After running spicetify upgrade, you will be prompted to run spicetify restore backup apply to have everything back where it was.

You just need to install marketplace

You don't have the marketplace enabled, it might not be installed
You probably missed the second command of the startup guide

iwr -useb https://raw.githubusercontent.com/spicetify/spicetify-marketplace/main/resources/install.ps1 | iex

which installs the marketplace

@long island if you are using Spotify v95 you can't see any custom apps in the ui. But they will be installed u just can't see it
