overal, it's looks like cool edited and high quality documentary / story
but you need to work on intro/hook
there is tons of ways to improve, but i like to stick with simple formula... ->
Imagine someone who randomly clicked and got no idea what's going on
you got 15 seconds to convince this person to watch . give reason and explain how it will happen
thumbnail is hard to read and doesn't tell anything
(it tells, if we analyze... ofc.. but need to tell just by glimse of an eye)
no need to dive into analytics before constant views per video go above 50% of your prefered view count
so if your estimated views per video (find similiar channels, and try to find what they geting) , let's say 100k, don't even bother watching analytics before 50k
work on THUMBNAIL -> TITLE -> HOOK (15 sec)
in that order
Thumbnail is most important , title not so, but still they in combination can make or break video
if they don't click....well... no one will watch
then without catchy hook.. it will be 15 second click off basically
yeah... so for it to start make sense:
When you go to cinema, you saw 3 things
i mean when you going there, you already saw this 3 things before you bought ticket
it's -> TITLE -> POSTER -> and LOGLINE
hook in video, is technically logline
i hope i use correct terminology :D
for example:
The Avengers -> sounds cool
thumbnail -> even if you got no idea , you understand thats movie about humans with some super powers
logline
Earth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.
(took it from imdb)
so hook.. need to catch viewer, and explain what will happen
im not into cinema, acting and stuff, and for me documentary won't really work
thats why its important to decide, who is your audience, and try to make content they understand
for reference -> i never watched a single avengers movie xD
but thats example of stuff i will like... (watched few month ago)
glimpse -> hmmm love story?
logline ->
A couple tries to spice up their marriage in a remote lake house. After the husband dies unexpectedly, the wife is left handcuffed to their bed frame and must fight to survive and break free.
ohhhhh i like thrillers... im definetly watching
good hook (in my opinion) as logline.. should be ~2 lines
so in your example
"i was ordinary student from Brazil, but after some things happened i managed to get into hollywood and got oscar rated movie..."
that's nice hook start
then structure based on viewer profile
actors who want acomplish stuff as you -> "so today i'll show you, what stuff need to happen if youre beginning your acting carrer to get into oscar movie, but to understand , we need to start from beginning"
->>> proceed to documentary
if making for more broad audience, you can get line with more emotional context " today you'll see... how just one single broken car wheel, can lead to a net of things that in the end will bring person into hollywood.."
etc,
hooks matter to capture right audience
watch some big youtubers, and you'll get a grasp on how good hook may sound
It's so hard to see myself thinking about a hook like that!
Ordinary student hahahaha
that's so true
Thank you for taking the time, for me it's extremely easy to change the hook of that video, no problem at all, I'm just trying to understand the Youtube mindset, because I'm a newbie here.
yeah, you definetly found right place :D
i'll drop here, best 1 hour on hooks and scriptwriting you can easily get online

The creator of it, Kyle Milligan was kind enough to...
Yeah, thats cool
i mean if it's not "clickbait" so just tie to a story
i read on your page backstory, so there is definetly bunch of coolest acomplishments
for thumbnails, explore some "from A to B in XXX days"
i would say
just go into incognito mode, and try to search random stuff from head
you'll get ideation like this
easily interchangable into some movie background instead of gold cars
