I want to know exactly why my watchtime is low. I get between 3 and 5 hours of viewing time per video, which is between 4 and 10 minutes long. The thumbnails are good, the editing is good and so are the concepts, but it still doesn't work. Youtubers like me are averaging 20h per video, with a simpler thumbnail and less dynamic editing.

Look at your Audience Retention graph. Identify where most viewers are leaving, then look at those moments within your video to determine what to avoid next time.
