Does this API also helps with verifying a bank account? Or is there an extra step I must take?

Also, what I meant for financial connections was just to create the token. I understand that to create a bank account I need a different API

We have an integration with Plaid which allows our users to collect bank account details directly. The owner of the bank account authenticates through Plaid’s UI to give them access. In turn, Plaid creates a bank account token, btok_XXXXXX, on the platform that can then be used to create a charge or a customer without having to go through micro-deposits verification. This integration can also be used to tokenize bank account details for Custom accounts.

If you write in to Stripe Support, they may have some other ideas to see how you can verify a bank account when creating it for a custom connected account

Hmmm but I thought that was the main idea for financial connections sessions. The main issue I am running into is that, for some reason, financial connections session keeps telling me that the client_secret is not valid. The odd part is that, when I use my local environment, it works perfect, but when I try it on the production build, I get the error. I know that the API keys and such I am using are the correct ones, because I can actually create the connect account, and even do the entire onboarding for identity verification. Where I am stuck is on the bank part

I tried asking earlier this morning, but they told me to send a message to support. I tried to, but I could not find the form at all on where I can do that

Perfect, thanks. So, if I were to use a method different than Financial Connections Sessions, what steps do I need to go through in order to create a form for a user to add a bank account?

the details you need to collect would probably still remain the same. But for the Plaid specific steps, you would need to refer to the Plaid documentation. I don't believe we have them listed on Stripe.

i'd still suggest writing in to Stripe Support first, they may have an alternative method that doesn't require you to integrate with a third party
