if you're interested in using UPI in India, you'd have to contact support https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true since it's in private beta now, and you will have to be onboarded

BTW, @sleek hill, I see Google Pay as a supported method. GPay has in-built UPI system. Will that work if someone pays using UPI through GPay?

Google Pay is not supported in India AFAICT from this https://stripe.com/docs/connect/payment-method-available-countries#google-pay

Our Google Pay integration doesn't support their UPI system I'm afraid, and is generally disabled for merchants and customers in India
