It depends. Where would the confirmation number be coming from? How would it be used by the customer?

We don't generate confirmation numbers on our end, so you would have to create them yourself, or use something like the checkout.session.suceeded Event ID

Ah! If you're using Invoices, then these exist, but if you're just using Payment Intents, then you would have to create your own

Subscriptions are built on top of Invoices, so you'd have access to receipts and invoice numbers in that case
