hi! we never send emails in test mode. There should be an option on the dashboard to send a receipt manually, but which specific email are you looking for? is it a charge_automatically or send_invoice subscription?

I don't think you can really test what the email looks like but it's just an email that contains a link to the hosted invoice page (what's linked as Payment page in the Details section of the Invoice view in the dashboard) really
