Hello! Starting up a thread for you

#

Are you trying to show your users a preview of what their upcoming invoice looks like based on their existing usage numbers, or are you trying to hypothetically show them how much of each product can be bought at each tier (ignoring what they already have purchased)?

I want to show how much the user will pay after creating/adding more items.

so for example .. if the user has already 40 items, the user will pay 3,5 for each one. and now the user is adding 10 more. so the system should be able to show how much it will cost after this change. so the user can decide if he/she want to add these new items or not

I see what you're saying - this is something that's easy to do with licensed/non-usage based subscriptions through the upcoming invoices api, but there isn't a good way to do this with metered/usage-based subscriptions. I believe the idea was that with most usage-based subscriptions there wasn't a need for an "opt-in" to preview and then purchase more - users would just accrue usage w/o worrying about purchasing more

Just to confirm -you're sure you want to be using a usage-based price, right?
