Hi, the channel is a bit noisy at the moment. I'll loop back here to assist as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience.

No worries at all. Take your time.

Yeah, statement descriptors on non-card payment are different. Going through our docs now

Destination (with on_behalf_of) Connected Account
Separate charge and transfer (with on_behalf_of) Connected Account

Ah, we have not implemented destination charges yet. So I assume we fall into the "separate charge and transfer" category. Oddly, however, we are using "on behalf of" so according to this chart, it should be pulling from the connected account.

FWIW, credit card charges issued on behalf of this connected account pull the connected account statement descriptor. It's only ACH charges that don't.

Sounds like I'll have to work with support on this?

Yes, with Separate charges and transfers (with OBO) it should be the connected account's statement descriptor.

#

Yeap. Mainly though, the bank will ultimately decide what they decide to show even if we send the right descriptor

Got it. Thx.

This Discord is cool, BTW. Do you all work for Stripe? Separate from the support team?

Yeap!

I appreciate what you guys do. I do a lot of product support at my company and know how tough a job it is. Stripe's support is consistently really good. So thank you.

I'll let you go now.
