yep it will create an invoice immediately

not sure what you mean by the second question, it will credit for unused time on the yearly plan. That might result in the overall invoice being negative(often does)

if the invoice is negative it gets paid automatically and the amount is added as a credit to the customer's balance and that balance will be offset on any future invoices for that customer

This is exactly what I needed to know 🙂 Thank you 🙂 In case a user resigns from this new monthly subscription, will the remaining credit be transferred back to them?

nope, it just stays as a balance on the Customer object
