Okay but do you mean you want the Connect Account to be able to accept US debit cards as payment?

Or do you want the Connect Account to have an External bank account in USD?

Sure, no problem.

Connect Accounts can have different bank accounts for each currency they wish to accept

but in production when we try its defaulting to Canada USD

So the CA account has an external account in USD and when accepting payments from US customers the funds get converted to CAD?

no. the account itself is getting created in CAD

Do you mean the default settlement currency when you create the account?

But if you add an external bank account in USD it shouldn't matter
