When you say test the integration between vendor and stripe, what vendor do you mean

We are using Bigmarker as our virtual event platform

If Bigmarker is the one integrating with Stripe it is up to them to provide a testing mechanism for you. Unless you are providing the API keys (which is what Stripe uses to identify Test and Live mode) then you don't have control over when you are testing.

They gave me access to insert the API keys on their platform

Okay so you should have both Test mode and Live mode API keys.

If you use the Test mode API keys you can create and process payments without actually moving funds around

I believe that when i was getting the API keys, i only saw the live one. No test API key

So i used the live Key

Okay so you don't want to test with that one

You can use the Test mode toggle switch to show you the Test mode API keys

That is up to the vendor. I would recommend reaching out to them to be certain of your approach. Ultimately they need to support your efforts to test your integration

Unfortunately since we don't know exactly how their integration is designed we can't offer support on how you should test it.

I understand and I wish i had a better answer for you. But I understand how tricky testing can be and without more insight into how their system integrates Stripe I cannot provide you with any guidance
