Hi, taking a look here
from the screenshot, it appears that there are four quantities of items.
The tax amount is inclusive not exclusive
Thank you for your fast helping! The total must be $600. It is intentional of the owner to be inclusive. Check the Session creation there:
I put the link of the payment there too: https://checkout.stripe.com/pay/cs_test_b18K6sQF8AUfskqmvRewUjknM2iR2quzY72qXzWCULpnfShNU5ItOCSszD#fidkdWxOYHwnPyd1blpxYHZxWjA0SU1fUkdEXWRIVDRVQ2NWVlMyQz1NT3dhU2NBSE9vYW83RDZ1Sk5HQ0hVZklOMmZmS1xsa0hLSjQ1NTFuaWRLYnFTSl1%2FU0NENHNKMn1LMUBSYGt3TkxJNTVAaEY3Q2poPScpJ2N3amhWYHdzYHcnP3F3cGApJ2lkfGpwcVF8dWAnPydocGlxbFpscWBoJyknYGtkZ2lgVWlkZmBtamlhYHd2Jz9xd3BgeCUl
I don't understand your question
3.5% of $600 is only $21 if you consider the tax exclusive
if you want the tax inclusive, then it's lower since it'd apply to a different amount
a 3.5% increase to $600 is $21 so $621 after incease
If $600 happened after a 3.5% increase when what you want to know is X in the formula X * 1.035 = 600 which is $579.71 before the increase or an increase of $20.29
@autumn zodiac did that solve your question/confusion?
Oh! OK! Now I understand the formula. My interpretation was wrong. I simply calculate 600 * 1.035 = $621, and doing 621 - 600 = $21, but this is wrong. Your last reply contains the good formula, I simply needed some time to realize it...Thank you!
yeah it's so confusing
I've had to explain this enough that now I mostlyget it 😂
Thanks for providing a clear example it really helps to work back from real numbers
Thank you!
