Hello, unfortunately it is not possible to do this. ACH is a delayed notification payment method, it can take days for the transaction to succeed or fail. So our PaymentIntents will always go in to a processing state when you successfully confirm them on client side code

Yep, unfortunately it can take a bit to even hear from the bank with a lot of these payment methods
but can i check the balance before trying to pay?
Not immediately sure on that. I think we have an API that does something similar but I am not sure if it is relevant here
