So, currently my app grabs the tax info from each vendor (connected account) and prints a tax invoice when a purchase is made. However - I read that now there is a way to automate tax with Stripe, can this be done for connected accounts automatically?

And does stripe print a proper tax receipt (including business tax number, tax percentage, etc)

in the current state of the app , the vendor actually enters their tax info onto the app and is saved there. But is there a way of doing this through Stripe?

I'm looking but what kind of integration do you currently have setup? i.e. Stripe Checkout, elements etc

for example for a platform, there are the two cases: one where platform charges directly and also connected accounts through direct charges

would like to automate as much as possible for tax receipts

so instead of my app generating them, they are generated by stripe

is this possible?
