Can you share the ID of a Checkout Session where you saw this behavior? I'm trying to reproduce on my end.

I'm not seeing a checkout session ID but here is the ID for the customer.subscription.created event: evt_1LGTB8BrnrO4qlNzeMHjLSrG

Will that work for you?

I also just noticed that there is this note under the "Start trial" button:

"After your trial ends, you will be charged $10.00 per month starting July 14, 2022 for the duration of the coupon. You will be charged a different amount after the coupon expires. You can always cancel before then."

Which seems to explain things a bit better

Agreed that it does, but I don't like that it shows two different amounts in similar formats on the same page.

Yeah, it is definitely confusing.

Also one more thing just in case. I was messing around just now with the promotion code settings and I created a new promotion code: promo_1LGT91BrnrO4qlNzjX1ljNmY and archived the other one, not sure if that will mess things up for you if you try to recreate things.

That new promo code is essentially the same but is set to first time order only

Apologies, it's taking me longer than anticipated to set up a scenario to test this. I believe I have all the information that I need to dig into this further though.
