#pmontana1-manual-payouts

Currently my company has automatic payouts set up. I work at a non profit and we have many campaigns set up in donorbox for each month.
The automatic payouts send over a clump of money each day, but I don’t know if the money was donated as a general donation or if it belongs to a different designation. With manual payouts would I be able to monitor/ manage the how much money is sent over based on the designation?
With manual payouts you can control how much is sent.
Not sure what you mean by the designation.
The funds will all go into one balance.
Then you manually payout of that
So as a non-profit we host multiple events though out the year. In QuickBooks I have to put if the money was received for a specific event. When the payout comes over as just “Stripe” I can’t tell which event the money was raised for
So we will get a payout that includes money from “Donate to the New York Cancer Foundation” as well as “Hockey for Hope”
But I need to be able to split the money in QuickBooks so each campaign has the proper amount associated with it
With manual payouts, would I be able to only send over money I personally selected v

No
You can only payout of the balance on the account
That balance isn't differentiated into the separate charges.
However, a way to handle this would be to use Connect.
And have a Connected account for each of the different buckets of funds you need
How would I go about doing that?
We have a bunch of docs about how Connect works here: https://stripe.com/docs/connect
I'd recommend reading through those docs and then coming back to us with any specific questions you have!
