hi! you'd follow the guide at https://stripe.com/docs/connect/standard-accounts , was there a specific part giving you trouble?
during onboarding sometimes they are not giving options for identity docs and address docs upload..not understanding why it is happening
does that cause a problem later on?
yes when you go through onboarding if identity docs are not uploaded then account is not getting active , it becomes restrcited
Do you have any idea regarding this
is this in test or live mode?
does it being restricted actually stop you from testing anything? do any calls to create payments etc actually fail?
that we haven't tried ..we are doing payments with only active stripe accounts.So initially we have to make them active, for that we have to upload the files
as far as I know it doesn't matter for test mode Standard accounts, they should just work even if not fully activated
ok. But what about when we have to do in live mode?
in live mode for Standard we will reach out to account holder directly if we need any additional information from them
