The subscription schedule my coworker mentioned is to schedule subscription cancellation when period ends, then change the new subscription cycle to application fees. With that, there shouldn't be any fee issue since the application_fees change only occurs in new subscription and old subscription with transfer_data.amount has ended

I was actually referencing a different thread (I have asked this question various ways bc it involves migrating $100k+ of monthly subscriptions and I only want to do it once, and do it right)

I see! You can try in test mode with test clock and ensure that the suggestion fits your need 🙂
