Can you clarify what you mean by "check with a 1eur charge that the payment will go through" - we generally don't recommend doing this with cards, so I'm curious what documentation you're referencing

Ah, I thought you were referring to wanting to do these 1 eur authorization yourself (which we don't recommend). Stripe will sometimes (but not always) do a 0 or 1 eur authorization when saving card details

I don't think there's really an equivalent for sepa debit - sepa works very differently, since it's a delayed payment method but you're best chance of having it set up correctly is getting it setup through a Setup Intent or a Payment Intent with setup_future_usage
