Can you describe how you want to use coupons?
And when you say "copy/paste code blocks", what kind of environment are you executing this code?

so with the coupon codes ;
The user would pay a monthly subscription, I would like 10% of that codes earnings to go to the promoter of that code.
So for instance, lets just say I wanted you to help promote my server -
I would give you a code like "PROMO"
giving 30-50% off membership.
You would promote that code on twitter, I know that I can see what earnings the code gets, so I would like to deliver 10% of that code to the user.
I guess the API code / developer area..
I kinda want to just copy / paste the block of code needed, and edit the bits and pieces I would need rather than type it all out, just me kinda being lazy / not wanting to mess anything up too bad lol
I suppose I would need their banking details so that, when I cash out, I would push 10% to them and I wouldnt take the full amount is kind of how I see this working in my head lol

Yeah that is a pretty specific use case and I don't think we have any code snippets that would easily fit that scenario. This sounds like a combination of Coupons and Connect.

I could work around it, (for now) and use paypal to send them their cut of the income, although ; then its a promise of payment at that point - and I live by the words
its not that I cant trust you, its that I can only trust me ..
So I would much rather have the bot do the work once I have it set, so that they know I wont be missing payments and such for helping promote the subscription service that I provide in the server I run ; would you be able to email me if you were to figure out this combination ?

- What is the service this promo code is for
- Who is the primary consumer of this service
- How is the "cut" dispersed and to whom

I hold a promotional service ||for adult entertainment|| in my discord server .
They pay like $21 a month to get a space, much like a billboard rental service, with an embed msg with all their links attached, along with social media integrations, so any time they make a post on Twitter or Instagram, it shows up in the server, we also have a few other features, mostly for helping with marketing.
I am looking for a number of people to help with a promo code, sort of like an affiliate marketing gig?
I would like to pay users that have their own specific promo code 10% of that codes earnings.
So for example ; if you decided to help promote the service we provide, we could give you a coupon promotional code, I could take a screen shot 🤔

So I can see that codes overall earnings
since its a subscription based service, I would like the 10% to be paid monthly.
If more users are using that code, the pay is increased by how much the code is earning
always at 10% ^

That is something you would need to manage yourself. We don't have functionality to capture that automatically

No worries. But it is a nuanced use case and I think it would require a fair amount of your own code to manage these details that we do not have examples for.

yeah thats fair ; which is why I didnt even want to make an attempt at something I already dont really understand lol !
I know that Stripe is already touchy with what service I provide, but its a promotional service that runs through stripe, everything else is third party on other platforms, we just accommodate for the services on them ; and its to help keep those in the industry safe and protected. So I will thank you for your time, and if you do decide to write up examples be sure to let me know 😅
