Hi there 👋 OAuth is still available, but at this point we only recommend using it for connecting existing test accounts to a platform.

So then what is the suggested procedure for people who have existing stripe accounts and want to connect? Have them create a new one?
Yes, creating a new one is the current guidance. You can still try to use OAuth, but in those scenarios it won't be possible to know whether you should expect to connect to the existing account or if a new one will be created because the existing one is controlled by another platform.
Alright. So if they are coming from another platform and want to transfer their customers (with the customer metadata) to their new account how would that work?
