Thanks! I can send our support ticket id if that helps.
Or the actual Invoice ID?
Sure. May I DM it to you?
The support ticket is 00171818. The chat contains the invoice id.
These IDs aren't sensitive, you can share it here.
POST /v1/invoices/in_1LCJNXEZZGnJd3OZMTO9OSaw/pay
I think you're looking for that thing.
Thanks for helping.
Yep okay I'm seeing that did take about 10 seconds
The reason being you have a ton of line items
Very interesting ok. We've considered consolidating them.....
Currently the descriptions are all the same, but they're unique items, with different prices.
Yeah the downside of not consolidating will be the latency.
It does take us extra time to handle more line items.
This is good feedback for our invoices team -- please let the Support team you are working with know and they can pass that feedback on to our Engineers.
But in reality a lot of line items will always mean more latency
Even if we can speed it up incrementally
Ok, let me work on this internally and follow up on the ticket. Thanks for the pointer.
Sure thing
As a follow up, when you get a moment, is 2.6 seconds for a single line item normal? See: in_1LCPwcEZZGnJd3OZ75OxApgt. We also see POST /v1/subscriptions and POST /v1/invoiceitems taking 3-5 seconds each. Is that also normal?
I do not have request IDs for those. 😦
Yes that is normal because we have to talk to financial partners when we attempt these payments
So it takes a few seconds minimum
Hmm wait
Creating an invoice item took 3-5 seconds?
Or payment?
I think I was reading off by a line, sorry for that.... Here's what I'm looking at.
This is happening during conversion, and we're hoping to make the payments super quick to polish off the onboarding.
I can provide this customer id for you, if that helps.
Is it the same customer for the invoice you provided above?
in_1LCPwcEZZGnJd3OZ75OxApgt?
When I look at an invoice item creation on our end I'm seeing 0.322 seconds
