Hi there, I believe that should happen automatically.

The customer should get credited for what they already paid upon the update

And pay the remaining amount

Gotcha, I've tested the first situation, but was unsure about the second

I didn't know if the way I calculated prorations in my head lined up with what Stripe intended

It makes sense to me that it should work like you describe but prorations are definitely finicky

Testing is the best way to be sure!
