there're certain countries that we don't support Google Pay for e.g. India.

Yeah, I'm in Australia - it definitely is supported over here

hrm, i doubt that's the reason, have you tried asking other colleagues who have a card added to their Google account to try?

Hey Alex, so I got it working by creating a new chrome profile and linking a new card. Strange.
