You can re-use your IDs for either. That being said, we typically recommend against setting custom IDs when creating prices now pretty much because of what you brought up: two prices can have the same ID. That can obviously be very convenient but sometimes getting support when using those IDs can be pretty complicated

If possible, we recommend creating the new prices without specifying a custom ID. But if still want to that is definitely something you can do

Got it.
But in the case we do not set the custom ID on the new prices, wouldn't we have to ask the old account holders to manually stop their subscriptions before we could recreate them on our end ?

Doesn't the fact that we reuse the same ID guarantees that subscriptions are migrated properly and do not need to be cancelled manually on the old account ?

Apologies for dropping off this thread for a while. You will need to stop the subscriptions on the old account and create them on the new one either way, we don't currently have a way to directly copy those subscriptions over like that.
