I just found that! thank you! So what is stripes suggestion if we are an international company? Use an additional method for other countries like ACH Direct Debit (US for example)? The user would then need to add their bank account again though since we cannot use external accounts with ACH direct debit im assuming?

No worries. There are a lot of stipulations about what is/isn't allowed re. cross-border transfers and payouts. I'm not entirely sure what is permissible for your situation, as we mainly handle the integration specifics and technical questions.
