Good question. This is likely happening because test mode doesn't send out a lot of emails. When it does send out emails, it will only send emails to the address that exactly matches the one on your account
So the two things to do here would be to retry with the exact email address on your account (if you did not use it already)
Or I believe you can manually send these emails from the dashboard which is the way to see many emails in test mode
thanks! manually emailing the receipt works. so i can confirm it isnt getting stuck in a spam folder. switching to the exact email didnt work unfortunately.
Gotcha. Yeah, I forget which emails are send automatically in test mode but it is only in a couple cases. For most things with email testing we have a manual way to send it in test mode and that is how it is intended for you to see what the emails will look like in live
i see thanks! and is there anyway to include a static forward email on all email receipts?
Can you clarify what you mean by static forward email? I feel like I should know that term but it isn't immediately ringing a bell
sure. we have a support team that we want notified whenever an invoice is paid, and we'd like the invoice receipt to be sent to both the customer and the support email.
or is it possible to bcc another email address in addition to the customer who paid the invoice?
